The New Brunswick Hyatt is within walking distance of restaurants, clubs and amenities. The hotel is located a few blocks from the train station that services NJ Transit and Amtrak. Trains are also available to and from Newark Liberty Airport and New York City.
The vendor trade show will be the largest of its kind in New Jersey! This is a one day trade show with over 40 exhibitors that will include the newest technology focusing on the needs of PEG stations, local government communications, and system integrators when transitioning to the latest technology. Additionally there will be a number of vendors showing video security equipment.

Production and operations topics are facilitated by area professionals.

The Student Symposium is a unique opportunity for area high school students. Our partnering efforts will reach out to the educational community to include area high schools and vocational schools. Students interested in media will be afforded the opportunity to participate in a day-long program that will include time to visit with the exhibitors.
This is an opportunity to have teachers and students interact and exchange ideas with other school districts. They will share their work and experiences with other high school students. The program will include opportunities to explore career pathways in the media field by participating in a panel discussion with TV station managers and producers. They will share experiences and learn about potential employment opportunities in the TV broadcast, PEG Access, educational broadcast and tele-communications field.
Students will have the opportunity to visit the vendor areas and learn about cutting-edge media technology. There they can ask questions, handle and operate the newest technology, while increasing their exposure to video production and creating awareness of the complexities of managing television production facilities. This program is an interactive experience that will provide learning opportunities, introductions to field professionals and networking with other schools, teachers and vendors. The Student Symposium is provided free of charge as part of JAG’s community media outreach program and made possible through donations and sponsors.

Friday is a day jam-packed with great workshops that provide tools for station managers, technicians, engineers, producers, telecommunication officers and advisors, government administrators, IT staff, and elected officials. The information provided in conference workshops will aid attendees in contributing to their station, programming, video content, communication technology, and community.

This full day of workshops focuses on providing panels consisting of industry professionals. Workshops will cover a large assortment of topics designed to assist in the production and distribution of content on multiple platforms and address concerns of municipalities about telecommunication regulations.
